It had to have been years and years since Adam's mother had kicked him out of the house, or at least that's what it'd felt like. An eternity of hell in the foster care system after he'd been caught on the streets at age thirteen. It was tough, the different homes and families, half of whom were caring for kids just for the money. Adam hated it. The people, the names, the coming out with every new family. Absolute hell. But when he finally ended up in an orphanage at age sixteen with no hope of ever being adopted, he finally began to see a light at the end of the awful tunnel. -- Started: 11/1/19 Finished:

Magnolia (known to family and friends as Maggie) is seven years old. Two years ago, her life was changed when she was tossed out of her parents car, in a garbage bag. She was found by none other than Josh Dun of the band twentyone pilots. She was a tiny, dirty, frightened little thing who couldn't walk, talk or trust many people. But Josh couldn't get the little girl out of his mind after taking her to the hospital, not knowing what else to do. Maggie became a ward of the State, destined for foster care. But Josh couldn't get her out of his mind and was approved for emergency foster care and ultimately adopted her with his fiancée, now wife, Debby Ryan. Maggie has flourished with Mama Debby and Papa Josh. But her past catches up with her and threatens the very thing Maggie has finally gotten to enjoy. Her life.

"Don't forget about me please Josh?" She asked. I felt her pull out of the hug. I grabbed her shoulders. "I won't forget about you for the world buttercup. Don't forget me too okay? I love you." I said, pulling her into another hug and softly kissing her mud-brown hair. "I won't Joshie. I love you too. I'll miss you." She said, pulling on her small backpack, and holding her the stuffed elephant I got her. I hugged her one last time with one more kiss. "I'll miss you too buttercup." I said.
