It was an ordinary day, except it wasn't. I've lived with Aizawa and Mic since I was five, I know they're not my birth parents but they've raised me like their own. I've never been told why my birth parents didn't want me and I have almost no memory of them but I figure it has something to do with my quirk. Some nights I'll try to sleep and it'll work, but sleeping is never pleasurable, there's always some nightmare of some sort, most of those times it'll be a nightmare involving younger me and my birth parents. I never know if they're something's that acutely happened or my mind making stuff up, but they're terrifying, not as terrifying as the nightmares I have about me, they're always about Aizawa and Mic, who I sometimes call father and pops, abandoning me.

Shinso was never a very social person despite him having to socialize for his quirk to ACTUALLY work. Although, he didn't see much of a problem, Shinso had always hated his quirk after all. After being put in foster care for 12 years, and bullied for most of his life both happening because of his quirk how could he not hate it? He had got adopted about 3 and a half months ago by Hizashi Yamada and Shota Aizawa, who just happened to be pro hero's his life seemed to take a turn for the better. That is if you didn't count his depressive episodes, reoccurring urges to self harm, and constant anxiety. Trigger warnings will be placed at the beginning of chapters, but since I want you to have an idea of what the main triggers in this story are. Izuku was born with a quirk called one for all which is very similar to all mights quirk. When he was just 5 years old his mom and dad died in a terrible car crash and he was either going to have to be sent to a orphanage or taken in by one of the pro heroes which happened to be eraserhead and his husband present mic who had a son named shinso. After they took him in he started to grow up with them and they were very happy shinso and izuku became best friends and treated each other like true siblings.

This is a story about all of the kids in MHA that I believe deserved better as kids. So far this includes Shigaraki, Dabi (and all the Todorokis), Toga, Shinsou, and Bakugou. More details are available in the first chapter, "Prologue," which explains more about the reader that are concrete and important to the storyline, and also information about the kids' backstories and general trigger warnings for the entire story. The reader is the legal parent to everyone, is afab but mostly gender neutral.
