Mike left for college a few weeks after Green day's first ever tour. The band broke up because Billie didn't want to play without Mike and the two eventually lost touch. For Billie Joe's 30th Birthday he received a book titled. "My friend Billie" from his older sister, written by an author he'd never heard of.. yet the stories in the book seemed so familiar.

A girl named Adrienne gets kicked out of her home and Billie Joe Armstrong finds her and takes her in. Will they fall in love, will her past be too much for him?

They met at a 10-people Green Day gig in Minnesota during the late 80s/early 90s. She asked him where she could buy their record. They exchanged phone numbers. Now they live together, happily married with two boys and still as in love as they were the first time they exchanged words.
