Life is a beautiful thing, but it can also be harsh and unforgiving. It can break you down and leave you feeling empty and lost. The broken trinkets of life are the shattered pieces of our hopes and dreams that we thought were unbreakable. They are the pieces of our hearts that have been shattered by disappointment, loss, and pain. Nihilism is the belief that life has no meaning or purpose. It is the idea that everything is ultimately meaningless and that there is no ultimate truth or value in anything. Nihilism can be a dark and depressing philosophy, but it can also be liberating in its own way. It can free us from the constraints of society and allow us to create our own meaning and purpose in life. The broken trinkets of life and nihilism often go hand in hand. When we experience loss and pain, it can be difficult to find meaning and purpose in life. We may feel like everything we once believed in has been shattered and that there is no point in trying anymore. This is where nihilism can come in and offer us a new perspective. It can help us see that the meaning and purpose we once believed in were just illusions, and that we have the power to create our own meaning and purpose in life. In a way, the broken trinkets of life and nihilism can be seen as two sides of the same coin. They both represent the struggle to find meaning and purpose in a world that can be cruel and unforgiving. But they also represent the potential for growth and transformation. When we embrace our brokenness and accept the nihilistic nature of the world, we can begin to rebuild ourselves and create a new sense of purpose and meaning in life.

Adrift Among Life's Clouds of Wonder Adrift we search alone as ever By james a. galgano Time lies where it lives within this empty soul never to find. What dreams will never be within such lost foolish mind? Forever haunted from dawn until night as if worried soul impolite Driven by grandeur within whose hopes one often will never incline. Upon every hill undaunted we seek distance above by no design Drawn in anguish or by words best left unread or unwritten while fed By a hunger now forever unfed by a distant hope well written but never read Here is where such wayward wander lingers beyond unwritten page so inclines. As if by chance one day words foolishly written were unread once upon a time Yet who am I or we never met though this be wondrous dream if ever come true Alas we are forever bereft by such wandering lies upon life's long lost avenues © 9 mins ago, James a. Galgano rhyme

#2 on Adrift on 09/07/19 Lily is a week old when disaster strikes - The Great Flood - no, not the one with Noah's Ark. The one that stays, the one that never goes away. Her mother and her find themselves on a raft with nothing but a fishing rod, a blanket and a pillow. Sneak Peek: "No, Lily," Mother told me. "You hold a fishing rod like this.." Mother turned the fishing rod around, and wrapped my fingers around the handle. "Now you place the-" I plunked the hook into the water, and waited for a pull. "Good girl, now we just have to wait." Mother said. "If-"

For I had loved him for a million years and more, Kissed him on the cheek, And drowned in the red waters of his soul. Yet, all he could ever care, Was to look me right in the eyes, and open his fingers to the air leaving me adrift.
