Well this is more of an experimental writing project... but I've over analyzed the Ronald daul space so much I wanted to absentmindedly find out how he would have written my dumb parody of the rainbow puke series ... simply because at this point I might respect his writing now What if the story of Matilda and Charlie are actually conected by one snarky burly little girl named Suzie who is a little too bitter at having to defend herself and her little brother from various threats I mean children grow up and what if said little girl had enough sheer audacity from helping put Mrs trunchbull in her place to grow up to be the head HR lady in a chocolate factory simply because of family association But the manchild thought she was another woman playing a mama role and humiliated her along with the rest of the workers in the factory and ... it was glossed over with a tall tale And when she puts the creep in his place again ... this time she feels guilty ... Also what the hell would OHSA do if they find out that the strange trolls in the factory were "always workers"

Six former high school overachievers-now burned-out professionals in their mid-thirties-drive up to a secluded mountain Airbnb called Casa Alta to finish a research proposal on heritage and adaptive reuse. The house is beautiful, old, and quiet... almost too quiet. There are six bedrooms on the second floor. Six keys waiting in a basket. A cracked family portrait on the wall. Fog that curls around the terrace but never quite touches the house. The caretaker says they're the first guests in a long time. On the first night, someone hears a key turning in the corridor. On the second night, one door locks itself-and the person inside swears they weren't alone. Trapped without signal in the middle of the mountains, the group begins to remember the classmate who vanished years ago, the retreat they never talk about, and the secrets they've built their adult lives around. Casa Alta knows what they did. And it hasn't forgiven them. In this Filipino ghost-whodunit, every room holds a piece of the truth- and every locked door chooses its next confession.

Dalton checks the stove four times every morning. Not three. Not five. Four. He learned this the hard way when his house caught fire at 9:47 AM after he only checked three times. Seven checks on the locks keep intruders out. Three deep breaths before driving prevent accidents. The numbers have rules. Break them, and disaster follows. His therapist says it's just OCD. His ex-wife says he's teaching their daughter to be afraid of everything. But Dalton knows the truth-the rituals work. Until the day his nine-year-old daughter starts touching her ear three times before answering questions. "I don't know," she whispers. "I just have to." A psychological horror story about compulsion, consequence, and what happens when the numbers you count might be the only thing keeping catastrophe at bay.
