Daenys Targaryen and Aegona Daezgygar became inseparable at three-and-ten, spending all their time with each other. Aegona taking Daenys all over the Valyrian Freehold with her dragon Pryjagis, and Daenys recanting for hours all of stories she had ever read to her friend. Then, tragedy struck. This is where this story begins. Set in 115 BC, thirteen years before the Doom, comes this imagined story of love between the famous Dragon Dreamer, Daenys, and a long forgotten Valyrian girl, Aegona.
