When you play a dating simulator, you expect the protagonist to be loving, nice, and even a little cliché at times... Cue the entrance of Spade Voltaire, a closeted member of the LGBTQ+ community. They've recently graduated from high school, barely getting by as they had straight Cs. Now they don't know what to do, and they don't have a lot to live for. One night, they fall asleep and is greeted by a disembodied voice. They don't have a say in the fact that they won't be waking up in their own home. They wake up during the afternoon, and they're on a train headed to Asagao Academy. The only goal in their mind is laying low, and figuring out how to get home, before they can't return home at all. *I own nothing in this story except for Spade and the cover art, as this is a work of pure fiction that nobody will probably read. This story was written for the Open Novella Contest in 2019.
