It has been ten years since Aelin and Rowan were finally freed from the burden of war. She inhaled through her nose as she took in the monstrous fae-like creature. The creature was wrapped in dark scaly skin, with long clawed hands and sharp jagged teeth. Elentiya choked back a laugh, "You poor hideous creature, no wonder you were hiding." The thing hissed again, clearly not happy with her remarks. Its serpent-like face smiled cruelly at her, showcasing a set of razor-sharp teeth. "My brethren and I will enjoy making you bleed," the creature sneered as it lunged at her.

Feyre finds out she's pregnant with her and Rhysand's child. Frightened by if Rhys would be happy, she hides her pregnancy. They had all of eternity after all, so why not wait?
