Rescued by an island guardian, taken in by the baddest group in Alola, and no recollection of her life as a young child---that describes Chloe perfectly. Being a young trainer, Chloe has ventured all over Alola at her leisure. For as long as she can remember, she's had a special connection to pokemon, and because of that, she's witnessed the darker side of groups like Team Skull and Aether. After months of peace free from the Ultra Beasts, Alola could be sent into another crisis when a Nihilego appears. Fortunately, Gladion, the acting president of Aether, is on the case to stop Nihilego and send it back to its world. But along the way, he meets and recruits Chloe, finding her way with pokemon to be useful on his mission. But things don't go as smoothly as planned, especially when Chloe and Gladion realize they have a lot more in common than they initially thought. Will their partnership bloom into something more? Why are Nihilego popping up at random across Alola? Everything will get a lot more complicated when Chloe discovers just how much of her past is connected to all of this. I do not own Pokemon or any images I use in this story. I only own my OC and the plot.

The Aether foundation, said to be a place where care and protection is provided to Pokemon and their trainers that are in need of helping in any bad situations or problems. Those are mostly caused by those delinquents from Team Skull (ran by yo boy Guzma!). But, what no one knows that the "oh-so-friendly" foundation is working behind the scenes with them. They are to follow their leader Lusamine and her goal of catching the Ultra Beasts, even if sacrifices are made. Needing to stop them from further destruction, Gladion, Hau and (Y/N) go to the foundation to take them down! But, what (Y/N) doesn't know that she will find a certain someone waiting for them (mostly her). . . . "Once in my home region, a few months before I moved to Alola...all over the land, large packs of flames burned down buildings and wildlife everywhere it went..." I said quietly, but I know the opponent in front of me and my teammates heard perfectly. "I failed to protect the Kanto region from Team Rocket...I went straight in; alone and unprepared." With every word I said, it became louder as I clutched my fists in anger. "Now I know not to do reckless acts by myself..." A single tear dropped from each of my (E/C) eyes as I looked straight into my opponent's blue ones, behind those bean shaped glasses of his. "I'm not alone anymore..." Wiping the tears away, I straighten my posture and gave a determined glare at the man a few feet away from me, along with a quick breather to calm me down. "I have my teammates- wait no, my friends here to help me stop Guzma and Lusamine's plans of unleashing the Ultra Beasts...I don't care who or what will get in our way, I won't stop at nothing until their plans are foiled...AND YOU ARE IN OUR WAY!!"
