She barely noticed the vendors, except when she needed a change of big notes. Ndhlati noticed her each and every day, not in the way men often did, but with quiet curiosity. Over the weeks, she began stopping by even when she didn't need to. Ndhlati's world was simple but full of laughter, kindness, and a kind of peace she'd never known.
