Book 1 of The Andania Series ֎֎֎֎֎֎֎֎֎֎֎֎֎֎֎֎֎֎֎֎֎֎֎֎֎֎֎֎֎֎֎֎֎֎֎֎֎֎֎ Other than her parents, Nafissatou Cisse feels like the only one in the domed city of Asuna with a batyyn--- and that's most likely because she is. Because the Mlasere government demonizes the power as a "mutation disease," and disappears anyone with it, Nafi and her parents have been hiding their powers and living amongst the dormant civilians of the city ever since the apocalyptic Demunia took over their hometown. But when her family are discovered by the Mlasere, Nafi is forced to flee from the city and journey to the Anyato Mountains with the help of a mysterious woman and her companion. There she learns that she is part of the legendary Andania, a prophesized group of psions who can help save the Earth from wicked creatures called the Kulti. As Nafi faces the threat of not finding the rest of the Andania before the Kulti launch their greatest onslaught against humanity, she will have to find the strength in herself, and those around her, if she wants to save the ones she loves.

Dying to get clean: Is Ibogaine the answer to heroin addiction? Ibogaine is an atypical psychedelic alkaloid, which has been subjected to research due to its reported ability to lessen drug-seeking behaviors in addicts. ibogaine is known as a psychedelic having certain dissociative properties. Some Preliminary findings suggest that it may help counter drug addiction. Ibogaine and other psychedelics, such as LSD and psilocybin, have for a long time been appreciated as potentially powerful treatments for persons suffering from addiction and depression. Psychoactive appears to have a different mechanism of action from other psychiatric medicines out, which offers hope that they could treat more people. ibogaine also seems to produce some lasting effects after only a few doses. How Does Ibogaine Work In Treating Opioid Addiction? Ibogaine acts in the body as a gentle stimulant when taken in small doses. But when taken in larger doses, ibogaine can put a person into a severe psychedelic state. Some people found out that large doses reduce opiate withdrawal symptoms and also help with substance-related cravings. The experience with ibogaine occurs in two separate phases called the visionary phase which is the first experience after taking ibogaine and the introspection phase which is the reflection phase. The visionary phase has been described as the waking consciousness phase referring to the dreamlike nature of its psychedelic effects and will last for approximately 4 to 6 hours.
