Jayden is a boy.......at least that's how he feels. ************************ NB: This story won't really match the lifestyle of any particular country, it'll be more of the world in my head but it'll be very clear. Although standard things like school system, society reactions and so on will mostly copy my country. Also this is my first story and I greatly lack writing talent so please be nice but give me your CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM. Just tell me what I'm doing wrong. Thanks for reading.

It was just a kiss, don't freak out about it-" "No, it wasn't just a kiss. What Nigerian man would do that?!" "So is the problem that you were uncomfortable or that you're a Nigerian man so you feel you shouldn't have?" "The seco- no, both- that was an accident, it didn't mean anything so don't fucking twist my head with your mind games, Audu! I am not fucking like you!" The Nigerian movie, The Eve, was centred on Funsho. However, it was another Nigerian movie that gave us a glimpse at a member of the hidden Nigerian lgbt community; Audu. He lives in peace, knowing he can be himself in Canada. However, Tosan, an old friend crashes into the peace he has built up for himself and Audu can't bring himself to turn him away. So, they're stuck together. But what could go wrong, really? After all, regardless of whatever feelings are blooming, they hate each other with a passion. They always have. And Tosan... He's straight, isn't he?

"Goddess. You seem like utter divinity at times. A woman so kind, so... Warm. So bright. The sun itself can't come close. And I... I just want to be around your glow a little longer. So forgive me, Victoria. Please, forgive me. Speaking... It has never been my strong suit." "Folake...? Angel? Are you... Flirting with me? Because that might have just been the sweetest, most romantic thing I've ever heard." Folake is the secretary and unofficial personal assistant of one of the most influential men in Nigeria. He is the Head of Vee Cargo; almost nothing gets in or out of the country without them. The money is good but she is the quiet type, barely speaking to anyone and keeping to herself. Her boss, Victor, is used to it but when his sister shows up in Nigeria after years abroad, she wonders if Folake has always been like this and why. If she wants the light-skinned woman on her side to take over the family company, she's going to have to gain her trust and that means getting the soft-spoken secretary to speak.

Irekan is in trouble. He likes a boy, and the problem isn't that the boy likes him back-the problem is he's not supposed to be gay. Moving to Nigeria was supposed to be his blank slate, a chance to successfully pray the gay away. But he failed, and things only go downhill from here. Life was never going to be easy for Irekan-he's Nigerian, and that's already minus one on his good life bingo card. But with exams around the corner and Nosa smiling at him like he created the firmaments, he doesn't really have time for riots and parental abuse. Yet, he finds himself swept up in the whirlwind of police brutality protests, his parents are scheming, and everyone thinks he's some kind of martyr when he just wants to be in love in peace. With academic pressure mounting, the threat of his family moving back abroad, and one heck of a secret romance, Irekan is forced to choose between those who see him for who he truly is and living a lie. At Kingsway College, discipline is everything, reputation is survival, and prefects are closer to soldiers than students. Ayo Martins has never broken a rule in his life because he can't afford to. As Senior Prefect, he carries the weight of a military father's expectations and a school that treats perfection as the only acceptable identity. Then Jide Bello arrives. Rebellious, brilliant, and completely uninterested in authority, Jide turns Kingsway's rigid system upside down from day one. But when they're forced to work together to lead the school's biggest graduation week in Kingsway's history, their constant clashes turn into something neither of them understands and neither can ignore. In a place where even rumours have consequences, one connection between them might be more dangerous than breaking every rule in the handbook.
