A love poem about a beautiful black man.

Our dear reader lives down in New Orleans, where dreams come true and people come together to live in peace. Well, as peaceful as you can be living in the 1920's with someone as strange as Alastor. (Sorry I'm really bad at descriptions, will be changed later) Alastor x African American Reader but literally anyone can read as they wish.

This book does include mature content. This book takes place is a Medieval setting, but is more in a futuristic time period. It includes steam punk machines and some people possess powers. If this isn't your cup of tea no worries! If it is...welcomeeee! Akua, Jay, Yasmin, Marcus, and Alex must escape their home and get to the other side of the Land without getting caught or worse...killed. What will they discover on their journey? Read the story and find out! This storyline actually came from a dream I had. It was so vivid I feel like I have to make it a real story and share it with you all! I pushed the bushes aside, and there sat a skinny young boy, maybe a toddler, with matted curly dark brown hair, hollow cheeks, and rags for clothes. I froze in shock until I finally found the words to say, "Hello, my name's Cleo. . . what's yours?" I spoke as softly and calmly as possible. He blinked his pretty grey eyes at me. "Mateo." . . . Imagine a half-eaten apple flies through the air and smacks you on the head. There's nobody around and no way for anyone to hide. Then, it happens again the next day and you do some searching and find a small child. Would you take him in? Help him find his parents?

Joel's parent died in a civil war and he was forced to live with his harsh Aunt in Limpopo. His sister was captured by the rebels. Things change when Joel learns that the rebels have attacked Limpopo. He decided to risk his life by joining the rebels to find his sister. When he does, he discovers the lies about his life and yet his life is ending but not before he reveals the truths. Even deaths can be commanded.
