When her rights to be human are about to be taken from her, everyone around seems not to notice, a few who did were scared of the oppressor but onyinye knew she had to fight or become like the rest. How can you tell us Africans not to be Africans in Africa!!!

I love poetry! This is the first of many.

In the heart of bustling high school corridors, a quiet romance blooms between Lulani, a shy black teen adorned with her signature red bow, and Kuroi, an enigmatic Asian youth with striking grey hair and captivating red eyes. Their connection is veiled in mystery, as Kuroi carries secrets that intrigue and beguile Lulani. As they navigate the complexities of young love, their bond deepens amidst whispered rumors and hidden glances. With each passing moment, the red bow and the grey mystery intertwine, weaving a tale of passion and intrigue that defies the boundaries of ordinary romance.

When I was in first grade in elementary, I remember this one girl who came up to me and told me that she hated my hair and that I should try to find other hairstyles such as straightening it. The second I've got this comment, I've never stopped thinking about my hair. I would always think that it was ugly and not pretty enough for people to like it... (482 words)

Of course my dad had to be half German and of course they had to fall in love...>> In this fight she has been through her whole life, she forgot that she had siblings who are probably going through worse than her. So focused on a perfect life, she expected to much from life. It's with a broken heart that she agreed that in this cruel world nobody is perfect, not even the man she wanted to marry, not even her parents, not even her. << I'm no better than them if I can't prove to myself that butterflies can't die...Because there's only one death and caterpillars go beyond it so they can live forever.>> ******Butterflies don't die *****is about affirmation and acceptation. Being different doesn't mean you cannot find where you belong in this society. Being mixed does not mean you're a failure. Feeling lonely does not mean you are alone. Life can be hard, however you can live through it as a forever butterfly whatever how bad they might hurt your feelings and whatever how bad people can treat you. Be this hope people like you are waiting for! Be proud to carry your legacy just like butterflies carry beauty! (Please respect my rights Lucinda M. C.)
