AFTER ME Some people grow up dreaming about what they will become. Others grow up wondering how they will survive long enough to become anything at all. She learned early that life does not give everyone the same starting line. While others had carefree holidays, celebrations, and things they could simply ask for, she learned to work, to adjust, to go without, and to keep moving even when the road was hot, dusty, and painfully long. Being the eldest meant carrying more than her own dreams. It meant watching her family struggle, understanding her mother's sacrifices, questioning her father's choices, and silently promising herself that one day, things would be different. Then love hurt too . And for a while, she wondered if maybe life was simply something she had to endure. But she refuses to let hardship become her inheritance. AFTER ME is a story about growing up without having everything, loving without guarantees, carrying responsibilities too early, and finding the courage to build the life you once wished someone had built for you. Maybe the point isn't to have an easy life. Maybe it's to make sure the people who come after you don't have to live the same one.
