Katniss and Peeta Mellark have officially survived the 74th, 75th, and the 76th Hunger Games. All those Victories came with a loss, and they are ready to recover in the almost reduced to ashes Victor's Village. Will they learn to heal? Or will the recovery tear them apart? EXCERPT "Are you? Are you? Coming to the tree? Where they strung up a man, they say who murdered three. Strange things did happen here, No stranger would it be. If we met at midnight in the Hanging Tree. The Mockingjays repeat the tune to that song to me, and to confuse them I decide to switch songs. Deep in the meadow, Under the willow, A bed of grass, A soft green pillow, Lay down your head, and close your eyes, When they open again the sun will rise. Here it is safe, Here it is warm, Here the Daisies guard you from every harm, Here is the place I love you. The Mockingjays adapted to my change of song well, and I hear a little girl giggle. I look over to where the giggle came from, and see Peeta with a little girl. I smile at the sight of them both, and decide not to sing The Hanging Tree. The Girl hands me a piece of paper on it, and it has lyrics written on it."

After Mockingjay, pre epilogue. Katniss and Peeta's relationship is growing stronger each day. When a drunk Haymitch suggests marriage and even children, it gets them both thinking about taking the next step in their relationship. All credit to the amazing Suzanne Collins! After the war, Katniss and Peeta settle back into Victors Village. Katniss can't stand her lonely life without her sister and Peeta is trying so desperately to keep his terrifying memories in the past. Despite their traumatizing experiences, the two survivors are desperate to have a good life again. Will someone or something keep them apart? Life goes on but will it for these star-crossed lovers? Eventually, things will change and time after time, Katniss and Peeta experience all the things that make life worth living. Update: This story is under heavy editing. Feeling particularly creative and connected to my former story that I had unpublished. Learning that the prequel for THG will come out in 2020, I found myself reconnecting to this story.

This story takes place 1 year after the end of the rebbellion Katniss and Peeta are getting through their PTSD together but will their Trauma prevent them from ever moving on and having a happy life?

After the rebellion, Peeta and Katniss are finally able to settle down back in District 12, but just as they think everything is back to normal, a familiar face shows back up. Embark on this journey with Katniss and Peeta as they start their New Life After such a broken one before.

-Set After the Mockingjay- It's been twenty four years since the rebellion, which means that Panem has slowly been put back together again. The remaining Victors of the Hunger Games have moved on from their past time, and all now have peaceful life's, until now. Crestia Snow, the granddaughter of the former president, is out for revenge. She, and other Capitol Loyalist have formulated a force in order to take back Panem. Which only means one thing. The return of the Hunger Games. It is officially been a hundred years since the Dark Days, and now, without anyone knowing, the Loyalists have created a deliberate plan in order to take back what they think is rightfully theirs. And now, twenty five years later, a group of descendants will pay the price for the rebellion, and will be part of the suffering that is to take place on all who opposed the Capitol. And this is only part of the war that is about to begin... "Cameras can only capture so much, but what's beautiful about them is that you can us them to your advantage." At only 18 years old how will Katniss and Peeta heal after all the torture they have endured? Just a story of Katniss and Peeta navigating their new normal after the war.

Peeta Comes back from the Capitol and Katniss doesn't know what to do. As time goes will they grow back together. Will kids be in the future. Will Peeta always be there?

This is my version of what I think happened after mockingjay.

The Victory Tour? Over. The Quarter Quell? Over. Katniss's life? Over, as far as Peeta knows. Sure, the games may be over for Katniss and Peeta, but the real battle is only just beginning. The Rebels in District 13 managed to get 3 Victors out of the arena. Peeta Mellark, Finnick Odair, and Beetee Latier are seemingly safe in the depths of 13. Katniss Everdeen, Johanna Mason, Enobaria, and Annie Cresta are seemingly dead in the custody of the Capitol. They're being held prisoners, having God-knows-what done to them. Their strength will be tested. Their loyalty will be questioned. Their love will be jeopardized. How will Peeta deal with Katniss being held prisoner in the Capitol? How will the Rebels get her out? It's been one year since the rebellion. Peeta and Katniss have returned to District 12. They are trying to get their lives back again, but with all of Peeta's family dead and Prim and Katniss' mother gone, it's been hard for them. Peeta has rebuilt the bakery and goes to work there every day. Katniss has been trying to regain her strength to visit the woods, but when she tries, the memories take over and they are not good memories. Will Peeta love Katniss after all? And what happens with Gale?

*Prim and Finnick survive in this story!* After the war, Katniss and Peeta are trying to forget the past. To heal from the scars they have received both mentally and physically. Everything seems to be getting better, until one night, President Paylor goes missing. Someone has to fill in for her. But this person doesn't like this "New Panem" that the country fought so hard to get. What will happen when Panem's stand-in President reinstates the games? But these aren't just ordinary games. The family members of the Victor's are going to be reaped, no matter the age. Will Katniss take down the Capitol once more with the help of the people she trust most? Or will she crumble when she finds out who this years tributes will be? I know I suck at descriptions! I promise the book will be better! This story is based on after Mockingjay. This story is all about the Epilogue. And we all know what happens in the Epilogue. This fanfic takes place 7 years after the War. Peeta and Katniss move on with their lives as a married couple. And so many unexpected things happen along the way. With all these events going on, will Peeta and Katniss get through them? Will they get their happy ending? WARNING: I wrote this story when I was 13 years old and it is very horribly written. It has lots of grammatical and spelling errors and it is undergoing some serious editing. Haha. Read at your own risk!
