Historias de Afterthecalamity

A fanfiction story based on Nintendo's Breath of the Wild, including elements of story, the world of Hyrule, and its characters. With the final blow struck, and the sealing powers performed, Calamity Ganon is finished at last. Now one question remains for the two heroes responsible, for the Princess and her Knight: What now? How will the pair navigate a post-apocalyptic world in which the Kingdom they swore to protect no longer exists? How will they cope with the loss and love one of them will never be able to forget, and the other can hardly remember? And, how will they fight a new darkness that begins to terrorize the remaining villages of Hyrule, a darkness brought about by the Calamity and yet unlike anything they have faced before? This story is meant to be a bridge between the events of BOTW and the sequel. Of course, once the sequel arrives, all of this will be proven false, but it's fun to speculate while we wait on the new game!

This is my journal. After the Great Calamity, Link and I began to rebuild Hyrule. It was hard, long, and boisterous. But at last Hyrule had returned to her former glory. I would very much like to tell you how this all happened. Have a seat. I have much to tell you!

"Bye..." He said softly, looking away from me. "Please stay" I begged, my vision foggy as tears came to my eyes. "I-I'm Sorry Zelda... I'm only putting you in danger" Link said, and before I could stop him, he got on Epona, and rode off. "Link..." I said softly, falling on the ground, letting my tears fall down my face freely. *** After the Great Calamity, Link was torn, believing that he put Zelda in danger, and that it was his fault. A year later he finally decided to leave, Zelda, heart-broken, tried to get him to stay, but he wouldn't listen. When something odd starts happening around Hyrule, Zelda starts to search for Link, but for more than the one reason, She hasn't been the same since he left. She needs him, and she won't stop until he's found.
