There are 3 parts of a shadow: The umbra, penumbra and antumbra Mikal Grey is the new professors of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardy, ready to teach and introduce an entirely new field: Affective Sciography. A completely unique form of magic where the user controls objects by manipulating it's shadow. Not only that, but after extensive teaching and studying, one will eventually learn how to read a person based entirely on their shadow. This area of study has it's scholars learning how to understand someone not based on what they say, but what they feel. The intimacy and integrity needed in this field are deep, yet everyone expresses these traits differently. Entering the class makes you vulnerable, but you end up with an impenetrable sense of perception and a clear understanding of how each person's mind works. This down to earth, eccentric and inspiring teacher will have his work cut out for him. He'll need to teach the students of his class to dig deeper than just what people say and how they act. To use their magic to be able to tap in and see the intentions and motivations that spur people on to do what they do.
