Oneshot about Harry finding himself after the war and finally coming home. It's fluffy, hints of a romantic relationship but you can ignore. I do not believe there is a need for a trigger warning but please notify me if I should put one. I suppose I could turn this into a real story but it probably won't happen. Enjoy!

The Battle of Hogwarts was hard on everyone, some more than others, unfortunately even though Lord Voldemort had been defeated, the war hadn't been won yet. The last of the remaining Death Eaters await trial and the final few funerals take place, but something seems off. After Voldemort had died it had seemed to quiet down too quickly, the war had ended too easily, and while most took the speedy victory as a blessing, Harry saw it as a sign for caution. But then again, he may just be being paranoid. Along with Neville and Luna, Hermione works to restore Hogwarts to its former glory. Little does she know that someone else has returned to Hogwarts as well. Someone from her past that she would rather forget. Draco Malfoy comes back to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry because it's his home. The place where he truly belonged, no matter how miserable his schooling experience had been. Dark and twisted by his parents and the Dark Lord's efforts, Draco returns with one wish: to make a difference. In his new position as Professor for the Defense Against the Dark Arts, Draco works alone to fix what he had a part in breaking. To right the wrongs of his past. As new threats emerge against the school Draco and Hermione work so hard to rebuild, they find their paths cross once more.
