neil josten x andrew minyard x male oc Shiloh Muntz knows exactly where his life is supposed to go: nowhere. He's anxious, chronically self-sabotaging, and one bad decision away from blowing up. He's an expert liar with a hair-trigger temper and a long list of reasons not to trust anyone, especially himself. College was never in the cards, his family is a perpetually growing dumpster fire, and the future looks like minimum wage, dead ends, and eternally stifling his ever-growing anger and loneliness forever. Then Palmetto State University comes knocking, with a fancy exy contract and a full ride and a chance for Shiloh to finally live. The Foxes are everything he's not prepared for: too nosy for their own good, too suspicious, and even more broken than he is. Shiloh feels unmoored, unable to find his place among the aggressive and distrustful team. Then he gains the interest of two of his teammates, the violent and dangerous Andrew Minyard and the mysterious and skittish Neil Josten, who see straight through Shiloh's lies and seem to refuse to let him disappear quietly. They seem to see Shiloh in a way that Shiloh isn't used to. Playing exy is easy. Finally learning that he might actually be worth keeping around is not.

Andrew Minyard spends most nights practicing Exy. He took up the sport years ago, but has failed to tell his family that he plays Exy at all. One night, Neil Josten stumbles upon Andrew practicing, and wants to make a deal. OR au in which everything is the same except Andrew isn't a fox and Neil has most of his shit situated already.

Neil's been running for ten years. He spends every day looking over his shoulder, dreading the day when his past catches up to him. It's already happened once, and the memory of fire and blood is enough to make sure he never slows down. When wolf attacks begin plaguing Neil's latest stop, he knows it's time to move on. But then he's offered one last job- a temporary position as a ranch hand for the summer. Neil has every intention of refusing. It involves every thing he avoids: rural communities, small town gossip, and wolves. Things get complicated when a friend from Neil's old life turns up, and Neil can't walk away from him a second time. Neil has survived the past ten years by running Maybe he's found someplace and someone to stop for.

The Foxes are falling apart. One player gone, another on the edge, and the team is down to the bare minimum. If they lose one more, everything collapses. Kevin Day knows they can't fail-not now, not ever. So he makes a plan: recruit a new striker. But the clock is ticking, the stakes are high, and no one but him seems to care. With Nicky whining, Andrew distracted, and Aaron... indifferent, Kevin is on a mission. A mission to save the team, to save the Foxes, and maybe even to save himself from letting everything go to ruin. One visit to EXITES. One recruit. One chance to get it right. The Foxes can't fall.
