Penelope has to return some books to the local library. Simon tags along with her and he meets Basil, who is a "jerk" (Simon's words) librarian. Of course Simon complains non-sotp and Penelope, Shepard and Agatha make a plan to get Simon and Baz together.... These are Rainbow Rowell's characters!!

The only thing that I liked more about Cath (from Fangirl)'s version of Carry On was the relationship between Penny and Baz. So, of course, I decided to write my own fic where their relationship takes center stage. Also: I've read a few stories in which Baz wears makeup. All of those stories have been my favorites (for obvious reasons). Therefore, this fic will feature Baz in makeup (yay!). Most of this is fluff and awkward sexual tension, I apologize in advance. Enjoy! These characters belong to Rainbow Rowell, not me. I only take credit for the plot line here, not the characters.

Eight weeks into their Eighth year, Baz finally arrives at school, ready to stun Snow with his arrival and then hopefully spend the rest of his school year hanging on to the edge of sanity as he only allows his desires the minor indulgence of watching his arch-nemesis (whom he's secretly in love with) as he unknowingly sleeps. Baz's plans are immediately put to a halt, however, once he returns to find that Simon Snow has been cursed, is chronically ill, and is due to die in less than a week. But breaking the curse is easy - all Baz has to do is admit that he loves the other boy more than anyone else ever will. For all Simon Snow fans that want a little bit extra before we get that third book. I hope that you like what my way of settling it, even if it's not as good as Rainbow's. (No way is as good as Rainbow's, she is the all mighty and they all came from her heart her ending is the only real ending.) But either way, I hope you enjoy mine! And yes, the title is from the song too, in case you were wondering. (I know you probably weren't, but.) If you had broken every single rule and put your whole way of life at risk, you'd be forced to follow the rules now too. Baz dropped his head onto the edge of Simon's bed, next to Simon's limp hand. "I'd take all of your stupidity if it meant I could have you back." ~ Or, when Goblins put Simon in a coma, Baz isn't sure what he's supposed to do with himself. He settles for never leaving Simon's side.

All Simon has ever known is his life in the tower. He's told it's for his own good, but he feels like he's slowly going crazy. Until one day, he meets a boy. The first person he's ever talked to, apart from the Mage, or at least the first he can remember. Based off Rainbow Rowell's novel Carry On :)) My own interpretation of Simon Snow's first year at Watford School of Magicks. (I do not own any of these characters; only borrowing them.)

Two years has passed since the Humdrum situation. Baz and Simon are happy but they have been keeping a big secret from each other. Will these secrets pull them apart or will they find a way to make things work.

Brielle Taylor is the 'next Simon Snow.' At least, that's everyone at Watford calls her. She's extremely powerful, but unlike Simon, she always has her magic under control. Except for when Everly Johnson, her nemesis, pushes her around. She's the only person that can get under her skin, and Brielle hates it more than anything. When students start to go missing, Brielle must find out what's going on. But, that would mean becoming a hero. That would mean becoming the next Simon Snow.
