Callie has disappeared and the Great Zapfish has been stolen. With both Captain Cuttlefish and Agent 3 gone. Marie is now on her own. How would she cope with the responsibility of getting the Great Zapfish back. Luckily she's not completely alone. A new player has entered Inkopolis. This story takes place during the events of Splatoon 2 hero mode. This is also happening alongside the other Wattpad story Princess Callie.

Two years ago Callie and Marie did their last splatfest. Although Marie was the winner, the two cousins did not hold a grudge. Despite that, they began to drift apart as they both began developing solo careers. One day Marie was able to get a three day vacation and left for Calamari County. Callie on the other hand could not come because of an important meeting. The two planned to meet on the second day of Marie's vacation. However, danger was lurking in Octo Canyon.
