Agent 8 was scared of just about everything. Loud noises, sudden movements, anyone significantly bigger than her, any and all ink bombs, anything pointing a weapon at her, C.Q. Cumber, and that was just the tip of the iceberg. Who could blame her really? After what she'd been through? So it's no small surprise when Agent 3 discovers that she isn't on that extensive list.

so this the different timeline from your a Merc or a squid, but this story will still have the same agent. So this isn't part of an event where a TF2 Merc come. 14 years with peace and quiet; 14 years with no major disturbances; 14 years of Petra being dead, Pearl grieving and the agents of the Squidbeak Splatoon dealing with minor issues. I think our main villain would agree with that. So what would happen if a familiar member of the huge, confusing family, reappears but as a villain, 3 people already having known about them being alive? (Theoretically) What would happen when people are kidnapped, experimented on, turned evil against their will and forced to fight their families? What if... They couldn't save those who they dearly loved, and had to watch them die? The agents would say that it's nothing new, but within the chaos of this new villain, they would all realise that this fight would be something new. This adventure was going to be different to anything else they have done in their lifetime. This adventure was going to change all of their lives, PERMANENTLY. This fabulous cover was made by SteelSkarmoryKate! After defeating that lunatic telephone, Agent 8 attempts to start a new life in Inkopolis. Despite his tragic memory loss. Sadly, Agent 8 knows absolutely nothing about his past. He can barely even recall his own name! So with the help of Agent 3, Agent 8 began to live his new life as a Octoling living in Inkopolis. He even began to regain some of his memories, some of them happy and peaceful. Some destructive and depressing. He keeps those memories to himself however, he doesn't want to be more of a bother than he thinks he is. Agent 3, on the other hand, felt somewhat in debt to the Octarian Agent. He did save her from that horrifying mind controlling device, not to mention saved the world from ultimate destruction, as she once did a couple years back. She took Agent 8 under her wing and helped him start anew, which he is forever grateful for. However Agent 8 has begun to feel sick and he has begun to hallucinate from the nightmares, concerning Agent 3. That's not the horrifying part however. Tartar left it's mark on Agent 8, and that mark is spreading. Later the two agents begin to feel much more than just gratitude towards each other, but could they? They're species have been at war for almost a century. Could sworn enemies have feelings for one another? I don't own Splatoon. All rights go to Nintendo, but you probably knew that.

You have a girl who gives great advice that she doesn't follow herself, a motherly woman who constantly deals with the loving annoyance of a happy-go-lucky cousin, along with numerous threats that surround their lives. And then you perfect it with two boys struggling with inner turmoils of their own, who had been at war with each other until that battle ended, now attempting to fight in unison with one another, learning to accept their differences after growing up in ways that affected their views on the world. How about we delve deeper into those busy lives of theirs, shall we?
