Agent Eight is surprised when a familiar green-Tentacled girl shows up at her door. Agent 3 has been gone for months, but the two soon learn that there more to both of them than they thought.

A Splatoon 2 fanfiction, set in an anarcho-socialist republic where the new squidbeak splatoon conducts an operation against the rogue terrorist sanitised octolings. The 1st main story in my fan fiction of the republic of Inksvire, an 8x3 is likely coming in the future, so be warned

14 years with peace and quiet; 14 years with no major disturbances; 14 years of Petra being dead, Pearl grieving and the agents of the Squidbeak Splatoon dealing with minor issues. Not to mention Cora (Agent 3) and Tobias (Agent 8) starting a family, Lance and Marie getting married and so much more. 14 years of peace... Isn't that a little too long for our main characters? I think our main villain would agree with that. So what would happen if a familiar member of the huge, confusing family, reappears but as a villain, 3 people already having known about them being alive? (Theoretically) What would happen when people are kidnapped, experimented on, turned evil against their will and forced to fight their families? What if... They couldn't save those who they dearly loved, and had to watch them die? The agents would say that it's nothing new, but within the chaos of this new villain, they would all realise that this fight would be something new. This adventure was going to be different to anything else they have done in their lifetime. This adventure was going to change all of their lives, PERMANENTLY. Agent 3 asks Agent 8 for some help with some makeup, which she gets, but also some help with her self esteem. Emotional Hurt/Comfort. The conclusion isn't solid bc I technically planned on adding more to it but I think it's good where it is tbh. This is cringe I know I wrote it like a year or so ago but y'know whatever, it's real cliche but I don't think anyone cares, at least I don't.

We can't change the past, and we can't predict the future, so we stick to the present and the choices we can make today for everyone's tomorrow. But when the past grows too heavy, the future more uncertain than ever, and the idea of another tomorrow is painful, some people take everything into their own hands, believing above all that they can be the one to change fate; to bend the future to their will, and to seek that every desire they have from then on out will come to life. Inkadia will surrender to the power they have, and the heroes won't beat the villain so easily this time around.

Iris (agent 8) and Remi (Agent 3) have finally made it to the surface after the deepsea metro. Iris, with nowhere to stay, moves in with Remi. All is well at first, until Remi starts having nightmares about being sanitized, and Iris starts remembering her past in the octarian army. One thing leads to another and suddenly Remi, Iris, agent 4, and he newly recruited agent 7 must work together to save inkopolis, and themselves. (IM SORRY IN ADVANCE IF THIS IS CRINGE THIS IS MY FIRST FIC) !! A LOT of Swearing !! There will be some LGBTQ+ characters in this story. If you do not feel comfortable for any reason with this, either do not read this story or don't comment rude or hateful things if you still choose to read this.
