I will now be posting everything unedited and unfinished for the sake of not feeling bad about the "talent" that middle school me felt when writing this. I wrote this because I couldn't find a good Splatoon 2 fanfic and decided I'd do it myself, I still use that kind of motivation to write things like music now 💀 Eyyy, so i was playing Squid Splat earlier and felt inspired! Reader is female in this book! (Sorry to you guys...i might make a gender bend? Idk) THIS IS A STORY! YES A STORY!! Yaaay!~ Anyway uh Y/n = Your name Blah blah blah... Y/n isn't like most inklings. She can still turf and fight and do what most inklings do, but what makes her stand out is her colors. Her colors aren't like other inklings you see in Inkopolis. Like Marie and Pearl. Her hair color is white and changes color depending on what she wants and almost always changes her hair style. She also changes eye color constantly. So sometimes no one even recognizes her. She heard of rumors of the old subway station and she's seen another inkling who's told her that he's an agent...agent 4, near what seems to be a sewer? What happens when she wanders into both paths and ends up in deeper ink than she intended to? Read the book to find out duh.... XD

The history of humanity has always been shrouded in mystery and speculation. Remains and technology have been found, but that only tells the species that replaced humanity so much. These two new life forms are the Inklings and Octolings. Cephalopod like humanoids with tentacles for hair and weapons that fire ink. Two relatively docile races that have evolved to become land dwelling creatures and build their own civilization. These two races would live together in harmony before going to war, then would go back to living in peace. But after all that, humanity still remains a massive mystery. Not a single human would be seen for the last 12,000 years, thus, they were thought to be completely extinct. But that wouldn't be the case, inside a bunker near the city of Inkopolis would be a human. The first human to be seen for the first time in 12,000 years. his name would be (y/n) (l/n) and he would be: The Last One Alive. This story is heavily inspired @AlanBall22's "Alone in a brand new world" go read it, it's an amazing story! Along with other Splatoon stories! I don't own Splatoon that goes to Nintendo.

I don't want to spoil my crappy story too much, but basically, I got tired of the "Reader x Splatoon" stories and kinda wanted one with no FOCUS on romance

More mysteries and truths arise around them as they both unexpectedly begin to fall for each other. Even when it seems like it's over, more mysteries and feelings unfurl themselves as they find themselves in the promised land. Maybe so that even Agent 4 and Agent Yellow must help out too. this was supposed to be a oneshot but I FUCKED IT UP!!! AND WROTE TOO MUCH AND NOW I DONT WANNA WRITE RAAAHHH (THIS IS ABOUT SMG34) RAAHAHHHAH I hope no one reads this. SO- basically this started out just a thing in my oneshot collection but it started turning into not-a-oneshot anymore so I just started the "real" fic comp for fun. Anyway, in this AU, SMG4 is Agent 4 and SMG3 is a random Octoling in Octo Canyon. All the other characters will be explained throughout the story. Also yes even though this mostly takes place in Inkopolis Square, it will still have Splatsville sometimes.

The octoling Jade and inkling Isabelle are best friends. Not only are they friends, they're also colleagues as neo agent 3 (Jade) and agent 4 (Isabelle). With the great zapfish stolen (again), the duo embarks on an adventure in Alterna, the last resort of the humans. One day, when the duo was travelling from Alterna to Inkopolis square per train, everything started glitching and the duo both blacked out. Waking up, they were separated from eachother, with Jade waking up in front of a tower that looked awfully familiar. Then she heard a faint voice, calling out for help. It was none other then Isabelle! As Jade climbs the tower to save her friend, she doesn't know if she will ever return to the colourful world of chaos. Can she save her friend and find the answer to her question before it's to late? Splatoon 3 and it's character belong to Nintendo. I own nothing but the oc's and the way the story goes.
