Agent 47 and Diana Burnwood meet in a bar for a handoff. It's his birthday, and improvisation is part of the craft.

Agent 47 is sent on a seemingly easy mission, to protect the young son of a client. But when the young child is shown to not speak due to traumas and horrors of his past, the mission suddenly becomes clear. The child is unable to speak, however learned to write beforehand. Through this method of communication, 47 learns that the client has been kidnapped or murdered by her enemies. Even having no earnings from it, 47 follows through with the misson, and must face a difficult choice. Leave the Agency in order to protect the youngling, or allow him to be used as a lab rat the rest of his life.

Story begins around the "Blood Money" Timeline. After Diana gave 47 the Fake-death serum. 47 awakened from his death state and started to kill everyone present in the funeral. However, 47 was soon overwhelmed and ultimately killed. Quite a spectacular death for our world's finest assassin, but the fate of the ICA is yet to be decided for god knows who is currently managing it right now. 47 awaited the inevitable death but it never came, instead 47 wake up staring at the blue sky. Strange, but looks like you were given a second chance. Free from the ICA or any Secret Organizations, the world he is in means having a new life. Either 47 lives a new life as a common citizen with the risk of oppression, or 47 strapped on his leather gloves and his suit going back to his way of life, doing what he does best.
