An Octoling awakens deep underground, lost and suffering amnesia. Upon meeting a strange being called Cap'n Cuttlefish, they join forces and embark on a journey to return home, wherever that is. Each test requires him to perform a certain skill, and as a reward, he receives memories of his past, piece by piece. Perhaps Agent 8 can prove his worth and make it home. Maybe he can even find himself along the way. But as the shadows of the deep reveal their true nature, he begins to realize that not all is as it seems... and his journey may be nothing more than a trap. ~🎱~ Meanwhile, Delta, AKA Agent 3, awakens far away from home after a sudden ambush during a battle with a strange Octoling boy. She's stopped a tyrant. She's even saved the world. But can she learn to trust her companion, to understand the plight of her so-called enemies, and see the strings pulled by the CEO?
