Taking place right after the events of Octo Expansion, Agent 4(Amy) gets an unexpected new roommate. Her name is Crystal(Agent 8), and she had just moved to Inkopolis, and being the first Octoling to do so(other than Marina) she hopes to leave her past behind. But when DJ Octavio escapes, and forms a new plan to take over Inkopolis, the two must form an unlikely alliance to stop him, once and for all.

5 years has passed since the Great Chroma War and the fall of the Overlords. Kai decides to move to the Splatlands to start his "normal" life. Until he has been chosen to become the new Agent 3, he would discover where the old legends have gone to and perhaps carry a new generation

Agent 4 was eager to meet the newer recruit, Agent 8. He hoped that she would be willing to work with him, and that he could confidently say that he would have a friend for good within the Squidbeak, and not just a co-worker. Of course, things fly south when DJ Octavio gets his tentacles on 3 and 8, and the Squidbeak turn to the only one left. What's once more? Determined to help his fellow Agents, 4 faces DJ Octavio again. But the DJ, without the Great Zapfish, turns to an alternate method that will give 4 a run for his money.

Hello, I made this story to tell the aftermath of the octo expansion. I tell it from first, second, and third person POV sooooooo [contains spoilers] Ocho has finally come to the surface. After fighting so hard to get there (and almost getting blended) she is ready for a do-over. however, her past doesn't seem to want to go away. and with this drama, one foe she thought she wouldn't see again has resurfaced (see my pun?) (i first thought I'd make this story really lighthearted {kinda still is} then, I thought about all the hardships that may come with Ocho remembering the bad stuff too, so this may get a little deep) (more puns!)

As with the new ability to live on land, they had lost the ability that their species has always had. The ability live in the place where they were before, thousands of years before. But only a small amount of specific species retained the ability to be in the water. And one of them, an Ocean Squid. They have discovered the ones above the water and wanted to see if it was worth it being on the surface. So they do just that.
