spoilers for octo expansion a Splatoon 2 fanfic male agent 3 X trans man agent 8 -- after losing his memory, escaping the metro am defeating a crazy phone that called itself tartar, 8 was met with the conundrum of wear he was to live as he still couldn't remember where he lived prier to the events of octo expansion or if he even lived anywhere. the only place that was mentioned in the mem cakes was the octarian domes and squid knows he's not going back down there.

After facing the struggles the Deepsea Metro, Nova now found himself on the surface. More specifically, Inkopolis. With Agent 3 making the decision of taking 8 under her wing, their friendship begins. However, 8 notes the seriousness that 3 wields, yet is determined to pursue their friendship. However, it is clear to Nova that while Inkopolis as a whole was amazing in his eyes, it is clear that he's not particularly welcomed with the rest of the inklings. With a city new to the octoling, comes a new life, and with that, new struggles. That isn't to say that newfound feelings aren't included... How will Agent 8 come to deal with these new challenges?
