This story through Matt, Agent Maine's, life until he was found by Project Freelancer... Also, this might go into the Red vs Blue: Chronicle by @PinkAura (btw, you should read it. It's awesome!) so it might blend a little. Or be completely different. It's an ongoing story, so I'll just go as I write.

Short fic about Agent Maine and agent Nebraska(an oc) from rvb's project freelancer. Nebraska isn't the worst member in the freelancers, hovering around the teens on the score board. She's also not the best, but that was okay, as everyone in the single digets seemed to be obsessed with their status. All Agent Nebraska, or Nebby wanted was to help make a difference, and also blow some stuff up. She has something special with fellow freelancer Agent Maine that few understand, and none inquire about. However, when Nebby gets shot in the spine in action , all she can do is watch as project freelancer falls apart around her, unable to do anything but have her ass in a rolling chair.
