When Leyla mysteriously turns into a Fastfin while out on a camping trip in the woods with the other Rescue Riders, Summer's feelings about her best friend start to change. And in the midst of this growing storm, a new dragon swoops into their lives, making things turn upside down for the riders in a matter of hours.

Sequel to The Dragon's Heart. Shortly after Summer and Winger returned from their crazy adventure on Megablast Island, Leyla is mysteriously injured by an aquatic creature. Four of the Rescue Riders embark on a quest that will test their skills as a team and their bonds with one another. Aided by strange cats with stars in their fur, Summer, Winger, Dak, and Aggro will be lead on a path filled with trials.

One night when Summer, Aggro, and Leyla are suddenly bitten by vampires, the other Rescue Riders must work as a team to find out what has made the girls start acting so crazy and blood-thirsty. Will the boys find out the answers they need before more bad things happen? Or will the whole village turn into a vampire-infested nightmare?

When Leyla begins to start acting strange soon after her and Dak's 11th birthday, Summer and Aggro decide to follow Leyla around until she tells them what's been bothering her. However, they are both shocked and surprised when Leyla tells them that she doesn't even know what is wrong with her. But Summer and Aggro have a plan to find out the truth.

When Leyla goes missing one day, the rest of the Rescue Riders go out on a search to try and find her. Where has Leyla gone? And will the other Rescue Riders be able to find her? But does Leyla want to be found? Or is she just out on a little walk to be alone for a while? Well, the Rescue Riders will never know the truth until Leyla is found.

It's a normal day in huttsgalor, the rescue rider was going about their routine as usual...until something shocking happens which drives them into thinking that there is more to the past than meets the eye. Winger falls in love, Summer gets jealous, duggerd goes insane, and haggis loses a prized possession. Keep reading and there will be a lot more adventures yet to come!

When the Rescue Riders first met Aggro she seemed to trust them rather quickly. But what if that wasn't the case? And what if Leyla and Summer were the only ones that Aggro trusted? Would the Young Fire Fury still have joined the Rescue Riders if this had been the case?
