As the driver in the car crash, Calvin feels responsible and lets the guilt eat away at him. His grades crash, he's not graduating alongside his friends, and his family's disappointed. Sarah lost the person who spoke for her, protected her, and who always made sure she felt safe. Nothing will ever be the same for her. Mia, hardly having known the girl safe for most argumentative conversations, does her best to check in on her friends. When a friend from her old life comes around, her confidence is shaken. How can they fix these things?

First year is full of firsts. First dorm room. First real fights. First love. Emily throws herself into campus life with bright optimism and dramatic flair. Sarah moves more carefully, navigating anxiety, expectations, and her own quiet truths.
