You can travel the world together and still feel the distance. A Canadian man returns to Greece with his Greek wife, hoping that time away-ancient ruins, mountain roads, olive groves warmed by sun-might soften what years of responsibility have tightened. They are not broken. But they are no longer certain they are moving in the same direction. As they travel, old myths surface alongside newer doubts. Symbols recur-the owl, the olive, the laurel-quiet reminders that love, like history, survives through attention and care, not grand gestures. What begins as a shared journey becomes an intimate reckoning with marriage, desire, aging, and the fear of losing the person who knows you best. This is not a story about falling in love. It is about choosing each other-again. For readers who love slow-burn relationships, emotionally intelligent storytelling, second-chance love, and romances where connection deepens through honesty rather than spectacle.

I always seem to write flash fiction pieces with manic monologues. Monologues and automatic writing are very telling in regards to the human psyche. I'd like to capture that with this piece: the inevitable pull of aging, alcoholism, nostalgia, and paranoia. Unkn

"Why do you keep taking so many photos of me?" "I'm just preparing for when I get Alzheimer's." "You're only twenty-five, Em!" People this age are too quick to point at someone and say 'Oh, I can see you carry a trauma from your childhood." But how exactly do you recognize childhood trauma? Is it in the way someone's hands tremble when they reach for a cup? Or perhaps it's the quick, defensive smile that masks unease? It's not about ticking off a checklist of symptoms. Sometimes, it shows in the way someone interacts with the world, in obsessions, in the moments they choose to capture or let fly past. But what if Ermano had chosen not to let the tiniest detail of the moment slip away? THIS IS A SHORT STORY

Clara is a middle class woman who loves science, music and travelling. She made the most out of the opportunities she had in her 88 years of life. In this book, she thinks about many issues that trouble any human being. It is her final interview and her legacy to the world in 2055. Clara recalls her birth country Venezuela as a paradise. She explains how it went from a land of opportunities to a dreaded place to escape from and back to the privileged position she believes it deserved. It took much introspection and analysis of the history of Spanish speaking America for her birth country to recover. And it eventually did. Clara battled food intolerances and allergies in her mid 40s that led her to cultivate her spirit and take care of her body using bioresonance, yoga and a healthy diet. She shares her story and how she developed The Wave, a movement for empathy to listen to people's struggles as they recovered from health issues. It started after she went into solopreneurship and failed. She discovered it was not her path and it's not for everyone. Clara shares other impressions from her adoptive island too. Unlike her young birth country, this is a land with a very rich ancient history that explains why it was divided for 50 years during her lifetime. There is a positive outcome to the long lasting political problem and the island is finally reunited. Even a case of greedy bankers is mentioned and how one of the perpetrators goes through a process of shift in values. Not all members of Clara's family acknowledge the benefits of a movement like The Wave, they enrich the plot with their own unique views and personalities. If you want to have a positive vision of humanity's future, you can find it in this multicultural family. Apart from being trilingual, they also lived in Australia, a land where they created memories they very much cherish. Novel available at: http://www.amazon.co.uk/kindle/dp/B0176G0HJE/

The world stands today, at the threshold of new age: we have been fortunate to witness the birth of a new millennium. We are the children of two centuries .A new era is knocking at the doors of our hearts. Are we going to open the doors to the new age of love, compassion and consideration in society or adopt materialistic life style! I find that materialistic hunger in society is increasing with the result relationships are breaking within the families and society at large which are causing tensions, worries and loneliness in life. A humble endeavour has been made to share some hard facts for the Sr. Citizens to be responsible and act as role model for young generation at the same time to have Graceful Ageing. I am sure that this contribution will be able to bring HAPPINESS AND SMILE in our life and we will be able to spread love in the society and in return society will love us which we need at this stage. I am thankful to Shri S.D Arora,Dr. Sham Sunder and my wife Smt Shubh Lata for giving valuable advice and suggestions for bringing out this booklet. I feel indebted to my fellow members of Gulistan, a Society of Sr. Citizens for encouragement to bring out this book.
