In this au Marinette is a twin and her sister is named Marilynn. Despite being close and telling each other practically everything, neither Marinette nor Marilynn know about the other's secret identity. Adrien and Felix are cousins in this AU but they both live closed to each other in Paris because it's important to the plot. Gabriel and Amelie work together in order to avenge their partners. Adrien [Retriever] is the wielder of the Dog miraculous, Felix [Saint Noir] is the wielder of the Black Cat, Marinette [Ladybug] the Ladybug, and Marilynn [Dormouse] the Mouse. Everything is told from Marilynn's first-person point of view. Warning: I don't own a lot of the characters in this story aside from Marilynn. [Extras] 1. They are all Juniors in high school 2. A cafe, deemed as not so ordinary located near the suburbs of Paris, got visited by a troubled Adrien not realizing how this path is leading to an unexpected friendship with the owner of the cafe's daughter.

Adrien was forbidden. Forbidden to see Ladybug. Forbidden to go onto the internet. Forbidden to use his phone. Forbidden to leave his room. Even for meals. Photoshoots were okay. Of course. Forbidden to argue with his father. Forbidden to go down to their basement. But that rule had been in place ever since his mom died. How could Adrien save Paris now? With Ladybug close to figuring out Papillon's identity, Chat Noir would be needed by her side at all times. What would Ladybug do without him?
