Sofía Valdez and her twin brother Leo have been through a lot. Their mother died in a fire when they were young and have been on the run since, traveling from orphanage to orphanage. But after returning from the war ending in Gaea's defeat, Sofía learned that Leo had sacrificed himself to save her and the rest of the demigods from Gaea's wrath. Unfortunately, this wasn't enough to please the gods. She was sent off to a little town called Encanto in Columbia to help save a miracle that was given to a family with the last name Madrigal.

With the ones who truly love them and a miracle candle created by their love for one another, Juano and Mirabel couldn't be happier in their new home: Milagro de Amor. When their families unexpectantly show up, they feel uncertain whether to forgive them and move on with all the pain they have felt being unaccepted by them. But when it's up to them to save their miracle and not fail again, they will have to come to terms with their families' faults and learn to forgive them in order to succeed. I do not own Encanto, its songs or the other songs. Credit goes to Disney, Lin Manuel Miranda and all the singers of the songs I'm using.

Whenever she sang and performed music, it would affect everyone (who was listening)'s mood/emotions. Like, if she sang a sad song, everyone would be sad. If she sang a happy song, everyone would be happy as well. Then when you were 5 you were outside by the river when you picked up a bubble of water, like, it was floating in your hand and when you brought is to your mother she acted surprised but she really wasn't. She knew. She knew you were magic. As you grew older, you learned that your gift wasn't to control water, which was elemental control. You could control the elements; air, water, fire, and earth. Now, you're here. In Encanto. With your grandma, working at her Bakery. Wondering if you'll ever meet one of the amazing Madrigals because you have a gift like their's, trying to figure out if you are one of them. For now, you shall ask your grandma with hope that she'll know.
