Two SOD investigators Simon Perrington and Shabina Johnstone have both startet working on the case of Valerie "Whip-Smart" Rose. As he tries to come to terms with the past, he is forced to act on the quickly approaching future. With Illinois' help, survival seems possible. But is just surviving enough?
