YO, I haven't seen any AHIT stuff in this fandom. So I decided to make on myself

An alternate universe where A Hat In Time [by Gears For Breakfast] is set in a psychic ward and anyone non-human in the game are human now.

Lydia, a white witch/miner decides to move from her planet to Earth. A planet that she's heard frequently from her pen pal Harriet. But first, she has to check out the place and Hat Kid, or Harriet, is more than happy to show her. What happens when Hattie shows the best for last.... Subcon Forest, and meets her BFF, Snatcher? Chaos, that's what! What? You think you could read something involving AHIT and expect normalcy and cheesy romance?! Nahhhh, this is going to be a WHOLE different ball game. And the purple floof noodle is going to make sure of it.

Lydia was a normal girl. Well as normal as an seventeen year old orphan can get. At least that's what she remembered from her previous life. But due to an accident, her soul has been reborn in the game that she cherished. A Hat in Time. So now she has to up her skills, wits, and levels as a white witch to aid Hat Kid in her journey in Subcon Forest and on the wacky planet that she was reborn to. And to discover the truth as to why she's here and what the infamous soul stealer REALLY wants from her.

Lydia is a soldier, a white witch, an alien, a teacher, and a nanny to an alien toddler. She doesn't mind. She's been doing this for a while and has gotten used to it. But what happens when her planets' allies turns against them and wage a war? And what will happen to both her, Harriet, the toddler, and her friends and family when they meet the residents of Earth? But the most important question now is, "The Floof Noodle is a lawyer?" Will she be able to handle the antics of this new version of AHIT?

And the Snatcher, a soul eating ghost with a sadistic sense of humor stemmed from a nasty demise. What do they all have in common? The former is going to get a lot of headaches from the latter. To celebrate the two new Monster Hunter games coming to Switch next year, a Hat In Time meets Monster Hunter in this crossover fic! ViacomCBS are prohibited from using this.

Though he has many enemies, the mysterious figure has fled to another side of reality few can cross. Will Snatcher be able to rescue Hat Kid, or will she be stuck in the horizon forever?
