What should have been an easy Time Piece grab in Subcon Forest goes wrong, and Hat Kid finds herself back hundreds of years. The forest is bright and happy, the Queen is paying a visit, and the Prince of the land is about to make a very terrible decision. You're not really supposed to meddle with the past, but it might be worth it, just this once.

Hat Kid battles through time, possession, and nearly time's destruction to survive and enjoy her survival.

In a time of great tension in Subcon in the modern victorian era, two women, who are by no means "natural" to the human prospect, are sent to an infamous estate to be the new doctor and secretary of a young Lord named Lukas Ironheart that had reclaimed his home from his ex-wife Vanessa and had divorced and banished from the entirety of Subcon village altogether. Another a hat in time moonjumper and child/teen reader story like i dont make enough of these. Your friends and family would always tell you to never go into the forest under no circumstances. and it didn't help that you were a VERY curious kid, they would have to literally drag you away from those large dark eerie trees to keep you from harm. sometimes you would sneak away and stand at the edge of the treeline, just watching with curiosity and childlike wonder of what lurks inside. but, you would of course get caught and lead away before you could find out what was in that forest.

Vanessa, a little girl, wants her mom to tell her a story. The mom tells her a story which she won't forget.

So this is a nice and short hat in time story. It is a oc x canon story so watch out. Also the story takes place in had kids perspective. ( also I apologize at my bad writing this is my first time ever posting something here.)
