Nova moves out with her friend Piper to Portland, after unpacking into her apartment she goes downstairs to grab some StarBucks, who she meets there will change her life, for the better and worse.

Destery Smith finds himself in a bit of a pickle in this story. His best friend Nathan Owens finds out that he is spiderman.

Destery and Nathan are really close guys, but have had a friend since preschool named Iris. She is a really pretty goth with a HUGE crush on Nicks best friend Dan....for now. Nick on the other hand is a petite emo, who fancys Destery, whom has an English background. she moved to England when she was 2 and met Dan and Phil. When they all had the chance to got to an expensive private school free of cost, they jumped at the chance. Iris and Nick instantly clicked like they have been friends forever. It took Dan, Nathan, Phil and Destery a little longer to adjust to each other.
