This is an alternate scene at the Dark Sea where I imagine what would happen if Anna were to show up while Elsa is still trying to cross the Dark Sea.

A year after Frozen 2, Anna and Kristoff have their first child, a daughter named Aila. Aila was born with the mark of the spirits of Ahtohallan on her wrist and the same powers as her aunt Elsa. At age 3, her parents make the hard decision to send her away to live with her aunt in the Enchanted Forest. But on Aila's 15th birthday, an accident with her powers leads to a war between the Northuldra people, Arendelle, and the Southern Isles, now ruled by Hans after the "accidental" death of all twelve of his brothers. The Northuldra aren't accepting of gay people. What is Honeymaren supposed to do when she starts having some unusual feelings? I never see any Elsamaren stories from Honeymaren's perspective, so here's one. *I don't own these characters, and the views of the characters in this story aren't necessarily the views of the characters in movie*

Taking place right after the Frozen 2 film, life returns to normal in Arendelle and Ahtohallan. But not long after, Anna starts having nightmares and the spirits of the Enchanted Forest start acting strange. The sisters soon learn of two new enemies that pose a threat to both the forest and the kingdom. Will the bridge of Ahtohallan be able to save both their homes?

MODERN ELSAMAREN AU FIC Elsa has been living a peaceful life with her sister, there was nothing more that she could ask for. With her ice and snow manipulating powers, there were hindrances to Elsa's life like having to conceal it from the world, but there, too, were privileges that she gained from it. Nobody else other than Anna and Kristoff knew of her secret until one early morning, Elsa had the need to unleash it and she barely noticed a stranger that had later come to be a witness to Elsa putting her powers into use. This stranger happened to be Honeymaren. Elsa was left with the terrifying thought of someone else unravelling her secret that she had successfully hidden for years. And, frankly, that was only the beginning.

When Anna wakes up and notices something wrong, she immediately sets off to find her sister, Elsa. However, when the two sisters finally meet, Elsa tells Anna something that might just send the sisters off on a journey that they never asked for.
