Aïcha n'a jamais cru en l'amour, on peut dire que l'histoire entre ses deux parents ne pouvait que le lui prouvé. Elle mène une vie plutôt banale jusqu'au jour où tout va changer..

La journée venait à peine de commencer, mais Fatou avait déjà l'impression qu'elle durait une éternité. Elle gardait les yeux fixés sur son cahier, espérant que personne ne lui parlerait. Pourtant, elle sentait les regards revenir souvent vers elle. À la récréation, Fatou sortit timidement de la classe et s'assit seule sous un arbre dans la cour. Elle observait les autres élèves rire et discuter comme s'ils se connaissaient depuis toujours. - "Je vais jamais m'habituer..." murmura-t-elle. Soudain, une voix douce se fit entendre. - "Salut... je peux m'asseoir avec toi ?" Fatou leva la tête. C'était la fille qui la regardait en classe, celle au sourire chaleureux. - "Oui... bien sûr," répondit Fatou un peu surprise. La fille s'assit à côté d'elle. - "Je m'appelle Aïcha. Et toi je sais déjà... Fatou." - "Oui," dit Fatou en baissant légèrement les yeux. Un petit silence s'installa, mais ce n'était pas gênant. C'était plutôt calme. - "Tu viens d'où ?" demanda Aïcha. - "J'ai déménagé récemment... c'est tout nouveau pour moi ici." - "Je comprends. Les nouveaux débuts sont toujours difficiles. Mais t'inquiète, ça va aller." Fatou la regarda pour la première fois vraiment. Aïcha avait l'air sincère. Pas de jugement, pas de moquerie. Pour la première fois de la journée, Fatou sentit un petit poids disparaître de ses épaules. Mais au loin, près des escaliers, un groupe de filles les observait en chuchotant... Et leurs regards n'annonçaient rien de bon. La cloche sonna. Retour en classe. Mais Fatou ne savait pas encore que ce qui allait arriver après allait changer sa vie au lycée...
