Taking a tip from Jubal Harshaw in the Heinlein-verse, I was curious how well AI could write stories. I didn't want to just blindly let AI write the whole thing but, moreover, came up with a setting, premise and set of circumstances and events. Each story involves taking some known 'style' or author, conceiving of a basic plot and series of events similar to stories they tell, prompting the AI with about 200 words to generate around 1000 words of story. I then do about 3-4 more passes offering changes, suggestions, replacements or asking it to rewrite portions. The end results aren't that bad!
