Malcolm and Ainsley's cousin Richard Miton is getting married and has invited Malcolm, Ainsley, Jessica and their plus-ones to the week-long wedding event. Please note that with the character of Birdie Milton and her relationship with the Whitlys, I am not following the show since canonically she doesn't seem to have a great relationship with them. The castle that is mentioned in this fanfic is Castle Gould/Hempstead House that is actually located in New York. I have never been as I have never been to New York but I did do some digging into what it looked like and where it was located before writing it into my story.

A proposal interrupted by a case. Murder victims being poisoned. What could go wrong? When Malcolm's proposal to Dani gets interrupted by a phone call from Gil saying they have a new case, Malcolm has to wait until after the case is done to find out if Dani will say yes. But what happens when the killer knows Malcolm and Dani are getting close to catching them and so they decide to try to poison Malcolm and Dani to slow the investigation?

Normally working a case with the NYPD was simple, see the body, find out how the victim died, find the murderer. But when a case takes Malcolm and Dani undercover into his mother's world, Malcolm has to hope that he doesn't blow their cover. When a popular New York socialite couple is found murdered just before a big socialite event, Malcolm and Dani must go undercover as Jessica's newest socialite friends to a week-long socialite event to find the murderer before they try to kill any more socialites.

It seems to be a mostly normal day until a murder eventually leads to a series of killings, suspicion, distrust, & misfortune. Malcolm struggles with his past, Dani develops feelings, JT tries to get along with Malcolm, and among all the drama Gil still tries to look after his "family."

A relationship that started as two friends who worked together going undercover as a married couple, the two never thought that it would lead to the two getting ready to get married. A wedding, a honeymoon, a child? Malcolm & Dani's new life together is going to be the best thing they could have ever wanted.

Lilian and Malcolm must navigate the world after the shocking finale to 'Broken' (Prodigal Son Season 1), making decisions to hopefully protect themselves and their family.

Malcolm Bright has a lot on his mind. His serial killer father has just woke up from the coma that Malcolm put him in, the first girl he has been intimate with, in a long time, is not talking to him, his mother and sister won't stop calling him, and Gil will not quit pushing him to take a second vacation. Life was getting to be too much for Malcolm, and something told him that it was not going to get better any time soon. Thank god he had Dani to talk to! This is a prodigal son fanfiction. This is my take on how the rest of the season should go! Enjoy!

After the arrest of notorious serial killer Dr. Martin Whitly, aka: The Surgeon, Gil Arroyo suddenly had a "partner" on his hands.
