It is often practiced that a Carrier always sails escorted, it was common sense especially in an Age of Stealth and Lethal Precision Strikes. In the year of 2026 as America's latest Carrier was to be deployed in the Pacific as a peacekeeper in the arising tensions of Asia. That was until an unknown phenomenon occurred and thus the Enterprise was deployed to her first Battlefield. (Welcome to my parody work of Azur Lane where I intend to do interesting experiments with it.) (Sidenote: The timeline here is purely World War 2 Era.)

Shoukaku and Zuikaku found themselves in familiar bodies of water where they met their demise. Reborn and reconstructed in an altered past where an alien race threatened humanity. After defeating the Sirens. The alternate world where the warships became girls enjoyed peace. Thus preventing the use of atomic and nuclear power as weapons of mass destruction. But in the real world peace is highly hard to maintain as a new type of power struggle is emerging. Particularly in the very waters where both girls were sunk when a third world country is being bullied by its supposed to be friend. At first both girls enjoy their lives as naturalized citizens of the Philippines. They have forgotten about their past duties. They are now living as normal civilians. Until fate decided to play its ugly hand. As a fighter pilot decides to eat in their restaurant. He offers them to join the military. Something they have completely forgotten. The pilot is a Filipino citizen serving in the US Navy. He is also a Top Gun graduate. And his carrier strike group is currently based in Pearl Harbor where the other ship girls that they worked and fought with. Especially in the battle against the Sirens.
