An Air Force base is situated just outside of town, and they periodically request the services of the local healthcare places (vision/dental), to do checkups on the enlisted. One such events leads to Harper meeting Liam. He catches her eye just as much as she catches his. Liam Fletcher, a daring 22 year old young man, entered into the Armed Forces about a year and a half ago, after he was faced with the tragedies of an unfocused life. Deciding to change his trajectory, he chose to enlist into the United States Military for six years. He wasn't exactly sure what to expect from enlisting, but he knew it would dramatically change his life and possibly even bring him to find whatever it was he was looking for in his soul. Could Harper be a part of what he was looking for?
