The Avatar has been the one to keep the balance between the Water Tribes, Earth Kingdom, Fire Nation and Air Nomads since for a long time. But not much people know about their spirit. The Avatar's Spirit has existed since the first Avatar, becoming a guide and a protector for the world. Not much people believe in it's existence, only the Avatar and they fear this spirit. It has been since this spirit has been tricked not one, not twice but several times, they become the Avatar's worst fear; The Avatar State. Will Aang, the current Air Nomad Avatar, continue the tradition of Avatar's fearing their spirit and neglecting them until they are forgotten? Or will he be the exception? REWRITING: I noticed that I am very far off on facts and I want to recycle this story and make it better. I'll still be leaving this version up as far as I have it. Tenzin is a nervous loner living in the Southern Air Temple. With his father gone visiting the Northern Air Temple, his anxiety attacks are getting worse. Although his mentor and respective uncle Monk Kwan is watching over him, he is feeling the constant pressure to join the young airbenders to the Western and Eastern Air Temples for the Season, to court and legally bond with the females there. But how could he reproduce and risk passing down the same fate he has to a child? How could his timid personality ever attract a female airbender, especially with the limited experience he has associating with them? But his curiosity gets the better of him as he decides to go with the young airbenders, but only to meditate in the famous Meditation Circle at the Eastern Air Temple. When he accidentally disrupts a female airbender's traditional week-long meditation before her Anointment Ceremony, the last thing he expects is to make a friend. But the upbeat, cheerful, forgiving yet unforgiving young woman won't take a no to a game of airball for an answer. Will she still be able to accept him when he tells her what he is? No one else has, so how could she be any different? Is there a possibility of a real Air Nomadic life for him? This is my own idea of how Aang's parents met and their relationship, and the Air Nomad's traditional way of reproducing. If you had your own idea of how it should have been and you're upset about how mine is completely different, then I apologize but I'm excited to write my story. Only this time, his grandson Varran wants to free Vaatu, who has been growing inside of Raava this whole time. Will these three young adults be able to defeat Vaatu? Or will the world be caught in the darkness? This is a fanfiction that is set after Avatar Korrra's demise. Most of the characters are original characters. I do not own the ATLA & LoK universe by any means. Most of the plot is canon. Maybe a few adjustments can be made along the way.

Your an air nomad, just like Aang, and you both grew up as best friends. No one liked hanging out with you though, since you had a weird ability. You weren't the avatar, but you could bend all the elements. And ever since Aang was dubbed as the next avatar, you and him would spend time together, since none of the other kids your age wanted anything to do with either of you. It hurt, but at least you had each other.

After Season Four of The Legend of Korra, Ikki is left in the shadows of her siblings. Jinora is training a new bender, a prideful earth citizen named Tyro. Everyone is in confusion, because Avatar Korra still lives and still has her Avatar powers, but Tyro has also proven to use all four elements. Meelo looks to Uncle Bumi to become the first Airbending general (much to Tenzain's disliking). And Ikki still hasn't earned her airbending tattoos yet, even though Jinora got hers much younger than Ikki, and Meelo is at the same level as Ikki in airbending. Ikki can airbend, but she doesn't feel as connected to it as her siblings. Ikki wants more than the island, and more than just helping other people. She's caring and sweet, but she has felt like her destiny was someplace else... something more. Sick of being left behind and unnoticed, Ikki decides to run away.

After an epidemic wiped out most of the world's airbenders, Avatar Tori convinces the world leaders to forcibly bring any errant air bender to the temples. As a consequence of Harmonic Convergence, Earth Kingdom citizen Kimori awakens her air bending one morning. As expected due to her inexperience controlling these new sills, she ends up brought to the Northern Temple against her will. With no way to send messages to her family, Kimori has to earn her tattoos so that she can leave the temple. That is... until she illegally births an earth bending child, inciting the ire of the world's corrupted avatar.

Princess Himoko of Omashu's life changed when the Avatar visited her city, for the better or worse she doesn't know yet, all that she knows right now is to get to Ba Sing Se and stay under the radar of the Fire Nation, having been revealed as an Air Nomad to the world, and now, the surviving Fire Nation soldiers that wreaked havoc on the North Pole, know that she is able to bend Sound. And has notified the FireLord, Ozai. Along the way, she will learn more about what it means to be the Adversary, and how to bend Sound in more ways than she thought was possible.
