Although she was all of those things, Li Wei desired to do more for the Fire Nation to remain prosperous, including learning politics, trade, and combat. Her father is stripped of his rank and banished from the Fire Nation for fraudulence while Li Wei is left at the mercy of Fire Lord Ozai. She becomes a lowly servant for the royal family and is also stripped from her engagement to Prince Zuko. Tired of being mocked and humiliated, Li Wei makes her escape from the Fire Nation to search for her father. Li Wei crosses paths with the banished prince and his uncle after three years since she escaped the Fire Nation. She decides to work with Zuko to find the Avatar while she gets a trip around the world to look for her father. Will this journey rekindle their severed relationship by a secret that tore them apart? I am.... let's say a HUGE avatar fan. I have done my own fanfic searches on multiple forums and something I've always wanted to read and could never find was a version of all three books but from purely katara's POV. I'm aware that technically the show is "told by her" but I never really got that feeling, not to mention we never understood what was going on in her head. This is what my take would be of her inner dialogue. My hope is to do a whole book purely on her POV and then another book later on of parts of their story from the pov with others. I would also add the chapter numbers that match between the two books (Idk if this makes sense but it does in my head lol) I'm planning on writing 10 chapters before I publish anything and try to do a chapter or two a week after that. Let's be honest here I've started multiple stories before and haven't finished a single one of them but this is something I've been looking for and couldn't find. I still believe that, somehow, the Avatar will return to save the world. - Katara of the Southern Water Tribe Nickelodeon owns everything except for my OCs and random plot lines I am going to throw in. Also Amon is in this series because he's an amazing villain and my OC needs a storyline besides being Zuko's love interest... This is kinda like if Atla had mature themes like Game Of Thrones with heavy sex content. So be aware that there will be strong sexual context, language, war themes, and violence. ENJOY

Our world has changed. It will never be like it was before. There are no benders anymore, no Avatar. They've all been wiped out. No one knows what bending is. No one knows if the Avatar ever existed. People learned to rely on technology and weapons to protect themselves. Some of the remaining benders have been imprisoned by groups of people. Benders and non-benders combined and created the strongest and most powerful military force, the Predominant Order. Their only purpose was to conquer the world. That's at least all we know, according to the plans of their Leader. There have been rumors that their Leader had found a way to unlock powers of bending that never existed at a normal bender before. Since Avatar Korra's death, it is believed that the Cycle has come to an end, but there is an old prophecy. A Prophecy that foretells that the Last Avatar will be from the Earth Kingdom...
