A year after Frozen 2, Anna and Kristoff have their first child, a daughter named Aila. Aila was born with the mark of the spirits of Ahtohallan on her wrist and the same powers as her aunt Elsa. At age 3, her parents make the hard decision to send her away to live with her aunt in the Enchanted Forest. But on Aila's 15th birthday, an accident with her powers leads to a war between the Northuldra people, Arendelle, and the Southern Isles, now ruled by Hans after the "accidental" death of all twelve of his brothers.
