It especially isn't a good thing when there are people wasting their lives trying to find and kill you. When you're the last of your kind, you should be doing everything in your power to stay safe, but for Allegretta, this isn't the case. To her, staying in one grungy apartment with her handsome, yet overprotective, caretaker, Giovanni, is as bad as living in the Underworld. But when she does venture out into the unknown, she comes across a boy who shows her what it's like to have friends. The problem? The survivors formed a place that was supposed to be paradise on the mountaintops, naming it "The Abode." However, the people running it soon became drunk with power, and The Abode became a place of suffering and misery. A group of rebels formed, escaping from The Abode. They took refuge along the water-filled cities, and called themselves Poseidon's People, named after the Ancient Greek god of the sea." *** Mazi Genesis is afraid.
