Having lost his mother when he was four and deemed quirkless at five, Izuku Midoriya wasn't gifted a good childhood. He grew up in less than caring foster homes, tossed from place to place like an unwanted animal, rarely staying in one home for more than a month. When he turns seven, his quirk manifests. He's left to fend for himself when his foster parents at the time kick him out onto the streets. They didn't get in trouble, saying that he ran away, but didn't mention his gaining a quirk. They wrote him off as a lost cause as a result. With that, the poor child is left to try to control a powerful fire quirk all on his own. So by the time he's eight, he's homeless, has a volatile quirk, and is living in one of the areas that heroes tend to avoid. Well, not all heroes.

Aizawa Izuku, a boy who developed a nuisance of a quirk at age 4. His quirk was named Insomnia, as he lacked the ability to fall asleep. This lack of sleep caused the boy to fall into a constant state of exhaustion and depression... that all changed when he met a fellow lilac haired, cat & coffee lover, insomniac.

Izuku stared in awe at the huge door before him. "Have UA ever had someone this big?" Katsuki shrugged. "Who knows. How about... YOU STOP BLOCKING THE DOORWAY ALREADY, DEKU!" "Aww, Kacchan. So loud," he pouted as he open the uselessly big door. "Mean too, I'm not a deku." "Hah! Who says? You'll forever be uselessly clumsy and clueless, damn nerd. HURRY UP!" As the two set foot inside the classroom of 1-A they were both welcomed by a bunch of eyes. "EEK! Kacchan, humans!" Izuku hid at the back of his friend, pointing at the students. "HAH?! AND WHAT DO YOU SEE ME AS, DEKU?" Katsuki grabbed him at the back of his uniform and pushed him in front. "B-but, Kacchan is Kacchan!" Or... Sequel to The Forest's Child! Midoriya Izuku, now Aizawa Izuku, is safe at UA. His father is in prison, his mother has been assigned a therapist to help her get over her husband, and everything's mostly alright. Reunited with his childhood friend, Bakugou 'Kacchan' Katsuki, he's ready to conquer UA. The only thing is that the media's having a field day over this, a quirkless child being accepted into UA without going through the entrance exams. Not to mention, they aren't the only ones interested in the boy... I don't own BNHA nor any images or videos shown! Just the plot line! Here's to hope that my writing isn't as cringey anymore! :)))
