Weatherdream
Logline:
When a powerful American Pro Hero transfers to Japan to combat a rising villain threat, she must navigate her toughest assignment yet: surviving Shota Aizawa and mentoring the chaotic, high-potential students of UA's Class 1-A.
Plot Synopsis
With villain activity surging across Japan, the Hero Public Safety Commission calls in international backup. Enter Jillian (Pro Hero: Weather Goddess), a 30-year-old powerhouse from the United States with striking pink and blue hair and a dual-quirk factor that makes her a force of nature. Armed with Barometric Control, she can manipulate weather systems on a hyper-realistic scale, and her secondary quirk, Consequential Healing, allows her to heal any wound-at the steep cost of absorbing the pain herself.
Assigned to UA High School as a Teacher's Assistant, Jillian is paired with the notoriously strict and exhausted Shota Aizawa. While Aizawa relies on logic and erasure, Jillian brings a dynamic, adaptable, and deeply empathetic approach to teaching Class 1-A.
From her very first day, Jillian proves she is more than just a "weather girl." She quickly earns the respect of the students by demonstrating how to use environmental hazards to their advantage, all while showcasing a fierce, maternal instinct to protect the innocent. Whether she's neutralizing Bakugo's explosive temper with a localized raincloud, guiding Kaminari's electricity through dry air channels, or throwing herself in harm's way to save a baby bird, Jillian shows Class 1-A what it truly means to be a hero.
As the storm of villainy brews outside UA's walls, Jillian must help prepare the next generation of heroes to weather the coming hurricane, all while managing the physical toll her own healing quirk takes on her body.
