In other words, an Ajin is immortal because they will always revived after death. Thus, people didn't see them as humans. Nagai Kei is the most recent Ajin found in Japan. He is now hunted by people who believed they will get a huge bounty for handing him in. This makes him frustrated and in constant running. Until one day, he mistakenly enters a area. There, he met a girl by the name L/N Y/N. A mysterious girl who's able to see the black ghost summoned by an Ajin. This is due to something that happened to her. But she's still isn't sure if she is an Ajin, or an ordinary human. Nagai Kei is known to never care for anything aside from his main goal.
